Nine generations ago a world was lost. What was saved of it sleeps in the hold of a single Mothership: sixty thousand people, and the fleet that guards them.

You command that fleet across twenty jumps to a planet that is only a name — HOMEPLANET. The Vekhar hold the lanes between here and there, and they will come at you at every stop. The fleet only ever shrinks. A ship that is lost is lost; a ship that is damaged stays damaged unless you spend what little you have to mend it. Every mission is a decision about how much of the fleet you are willing to spend to reach the next one.

Lose the Mothership and the journey is over. Bring it down on the last world and the sleepers wake.
